This past month I’ve been very focused on sin care. The reason is that I haven’t worn foundation since I came back home from Brazil. The last time I wore foundation was on New Years Eve, that’s an entire month of not wearing any foundation. And you know what? I feels amazing! But the secret behind not wearing any foundation is having good skin, so that’s why my focus has been on skin care.
BIODERMA | Sensibio H2O Make-up Removing Micellar Solution
This amazing water has helped remove any impurities to keep my skin clean and clear. Also, it’s a total timesaver. I wrote a review on this baby just last week, you can read it here.
CLARINS | Extra firming Night Cream
This is my second jar of this night cream. It’s my absolute favorite of all the night creams I’ve tried. It’s also the most expensive one. Typical isn’t it?. The only thing I don’t like about this night cream (except for the price) is that it comes in a jar. Other than that it helps hydrate and plump up my skin. I wake up looking less puffy and tired. Who doesn’t love that? Plus, it’s anti-aging.
SENSAI | Silk Peeling Mask
This is a new favorite. I’ve only been using it a couple of weeks. This is unfortunately also expensive (why does skin care have to cost so much?). It’s a chemical and a physical peeling mask. It helps remove the uppermost layer of dead skin and to hydrate. This peeling does not tingle, sting or leave you looking red. At least not on me and I have sensitive skin in some areas (around my mouth and nose). You can use it up to three times a week since it is very mild.
THE BODY SHOP | Oils of Life
I bought this at the Charles de Gaulle airport in Paris when I was waiting for my flight to Stockholm. I believe it was much cheaper than buying it here in Sweden. But this is a great hydrating face oil. I use it both day and night since the cold weather dries out my skin. If you have oily skin, do not be afraid to use a oil serum, trust me. With this particular oil I would’t recommend using more than three drops with each use, more drops that that and it broke my skin out. Also, this oil contains a lot of perfume, so this probably isn’t good for those with sensitive skin. I don’t feel any stinging or tingling on my sensitive areas, but I’m not super sensitive.
MAC | Blush in ’Coppertone’
My favorite natural looking blush at the moment.
L.A GIRL | PRO Conceal HD Definition Concealer in ”Yellow”
A great, cheap color corrector. This has been a life saver for me now when I haven’t worn foundation. Since I have sensitive skin around my mouth and nose, I tend to become red around those areas. This yellow corrector helps to cancel out the redness. I have a very yellow undertone to my skin, so when I blend this out with my beauty blender you can’t tell I’ve used it on my face. I love this corrector. It’s cheap, creamy, blendable and long lasting. I bought my first tube when I was in New York last July and I’m still using that tube. It’s been almost seven months (fyi, it’s note the tube pictured above)!
