This past month of april has been a struggle when it comes to dry skin. I have never really suffered from dry skin, and especially not at this level because I’ve always had oily/combination skin. But this past month has been a struggle with dry patches, flaky make up and being super uncomfortable. I never knew dry skin could be so uncomfortable. So, I’ve been really doing everything to moisturize my skin as much as possible. I even ran out of my GlamGlow Thirstymud treatment because I’ve been using it so much. I’ve literally been using about 3-4 moisturizers at the same time. It has not been been a pretty sight as my oily T-zone has been oilier than ever. Fortunately my skin is now feeling better and less dry. Check out below, why these products have been my favorites for the month of april.

Make Up For Ever | Ultra HD Foundation
Since I’ve been so shiny thanks to my use of a gazillion moisturizers, I’ve been opting for this foundation over my Laura Mercier tinted Moisturizer as this dries down more matte. As is has a bit more coverage it has also been great to hide the acne I’ve been struggling with on my cheeks. I love this foundation, I think I need it in more shades.

Chanel | Tan de Soleil Bronzing Makeup Base
I’ve been really loving the more subtle bronze this gives me. As I am super pale (for my taste) at the moment I feel like this doesn’t look as harsh as my MAC Give Me Sun. I better use this as much as I can before summer really comes a long and my tan makes it impossible for me to wear it.

Anastasia Beverly Hills | Lip Gloss in ”Vintage”
She makes my favorite lip glosses ever. They aren’t tacky (you know that feeling when it feels like your lips have been glued together), and they are super pigmented. I don’t need to wear a lip pencil underneath. Perfect for someone like me who’s always in a hurry. Vintage is one of my favorite day-to-day lip colors.

Kevin Aucoin | Sensual Skin Enhancer
This is the best concealer to cover spots and acne. My acne breakouts haven’t been looking as bad thanks to this baby. What would I have done without it?

Becca | Shimmering Skin Perfector (pressed) in ”Champagne Pop”
Do I even need to explain this? This is my favorite highlighter by far and I have yet to find a highlighter that can beat it. This has been a real pick me up for those days when I’ve needed to fake a glow.

The Body Shop | Oils of Life – Intensely Revitalizing Facial Oil
I’ve been using this both day and night now that my skin has been so dry. I don’t dare to think how my skin would have been without it. I am now obsessed with facial oils and I will definitely purchase another face oil as soon as I run out of this.
