MONTHLY FAVORITES | MARCH 2016

MF_MARCH16

I’ve been really into skin, and that natural glow this past month and I honestly don’t have that many favorites. It probably has to do with the fact that I quit my old job in march, had two weeks off (which means no makeup) and unfortunately had other priorities in life. But I just got some new products to try out so I’m guessing my April favorites are going to be a lot better.

GLAZEL VISAGE | Pressed Rouge Mini – Color 15

Have been using this blush non-stop since I got it in last months Glossybox. I’ve mainly been using it because I like the shade, when it comes to longevity and packaging it’s not all that. It unfortunately doesn’t last all day and the packaging is really fugly to be honest, but now that I’ve bought the Urban Decay Afterglow blush in Fetish that is in a similar shade and has better longevity, this blush won’t be used as much (or at all).

BECCA | Shimmering Skin Perfector Pressed – ‘Champagne Pop’

This has been my go-to highlight as of late. I love the golden shade with peach undertones and I think that it looks really good on me now that I’m a bit tan from using self tanner. This is a highlight I really recommend. You can read my review on it here.

NARS | Velvet Skin Tint – St. Tropez

This skin tint is a favorite of mine! It looks very natural and doesn’t leave you with that cakey look plus it has great coverage for being only a skin tint and not an actual foundation. I would say that it has medium coverage, but it’s buildable, but only to a certain point. Trying to build it to full coverage will probably just lead to that famous “cake-face” you want to avoid. Unfortunately here in Sweden the shade range isn’t the best. Apparently we don’t have people of color in this country, so the darkest shade they are stocking is in St. Tropez and that is my pale shade. I will have to find something else during summer.

BECCA – Backlight Priming Filter

Magic. Is there any other way to explain it? This will make your skin glow and look radiant and healthy. Since it is rather expensive I don’t use everyday but save it for more special occasions or when my skin looks really tired and dull and I really need that extra infusion of glow.

KAT VON D | Everlasting Liquid Lipstick – Lolita

My favorite formula of liquid lipsticks, and this shade is such a gorgeous shade that works for both everyday and more formal occasions. If you don’t own Lolita, you need to. I think everyone need this liquid lipstick in their life.

GIORGIO ARMANI | Perfume – Sí

Most used perfume as of late. I alternate between this perfume and Estée Lauder’s La Vie Est Belle for daytime, but lately I’ve been leaning towards this one more.

What products have you been loving a little extra the past month?
