I ordered this beauty from Macy’s about a month ago. I have no idea if they are going to sell this palette in Sweden so you know I panicked and ordered it from Macy’s with expensive and super long shipping. It’s limited edition so I just had to. Don’t judge. Do I regret it? NO. I’ve used this non-stop for about a week know, and guys… this is my favorite palette. It has totally surpassed my Too Faced Sweet Peach palette which I’ve been using non-stop since I got it back in may. I’m a natural color kind-of-girl. I do love blue/purple smokey eyes, but not for for my day-to-day makeup. Thats my “going out clubbing” makeup, which in all honesty I don’t do very often, because I go clubbing like 1,5 times a year.
Look how beautiful this is. These colors and the color range just feels classy to me. I mean, if you look at editorials and pictures in magazines, the models look really natural and you usually don’t see super crazy makeup. But he still mad sure to put a olive green and a blue/grey shade so that you can switch it up a little from all the brown/bronze shades. I haven’t used all the shades yet but so far my favorite shades are Paris and Marina. I used Marina today and honestly, it looks amazing on its own, you don’t need to use other shades with it for a beautiful day-to-day look.
This palette has 12 shades, three mattes and nine shimmers. It does contain less product that the other Anastasia Beverly Hills palettes out there, but let me tell you something. You honestly don’t need much because these shadows are so pigmented. I only need to dip my brush, ever so lightly, in the shadow once, and BAM! it picks up enough shadow to completely covers my entire eyelid (maybe I have small lids?) ABH shadows are known for being super pigmented, creamy and just all in all very high quality, but this palette is on another level. If they ever start to sell this palette in Sweden, I will pic up another one, because I have nothing but pure love for this palette.

So not only are these shadows super pigmented and creamy, they also last really well on my lids. Yes, they crease on me, but everything creases on me. And I haven’t used these with primer (I don’t wear primer everyday) so I can’t say for sure how they well they last with primer. But even though they have creased on me, the shadow looks exactly the same on my lids when I come home from work (10 hours later) as when I applied it in the morning. They don’t slide at all, they stay put. The only downside is that there is quite a lot of fall out, so you have to be prepared for that. Just do your eye makeup first and that problem will be solved. Honestly, it doesn’t bother me at all.
It’s hard to explain the consistency of these shadows because they are like nothing else I ever felt. Even if you think that these shadows aren’t that exciting, I get it, they are super muted and there are a million palettes out there with natural colors and brown/bronze shades. But, nothing compares to the consistency of these shadows. They are so easy to blend so this palette is especially perfect if you’re new to makeup or if you just think blending is hard. Your makeup will look flawless with these shadows, they are so easy to work with. This palette will make you look and feel a million dollars even if you’re new to the makeup game. You literally can’t mess your makeup with these shadows.

All in all? I mean, if you haven’t figured it out by now, girl. YES. You need this palette in your life. You needed this palette in your life like yesterday. So if you don’t have this palette yet, and you have the opportunity to get your hands on it. DO SO.
